Small port every 30 miles apart - Development of services for lively water tourism in the Eastern Gulf of Finland

The main result of the project is targeted to have increased service level in the ports: PORVOO GUEST MARINA is one part of the Kokonniemi future Master Planning process, which will explore the new business model for services offered throughout the year. LOVIISA LAIVASILTA MARINA operations need to be designed to meet the demands of bigger boats. KOTKA OLD PORT MARINA will be part of the tourism resort which includes also outlet-, hotel- and leisure areas as well as cruise services. HAMINA TERVASAARI PORT area will focus on services for boaters as well as for all visitors, but especially tourists crossing the border between Finland and Russia by car. VIROJOKI KLAMILA harbor will remarkably be expanding its services. PYHTÄÄ KEIHÄSSALMI PORT fishing port activities are strengthened by improving the marina area and developing new services for boaters. In Viimsi, the PORTS OF LEPPNEEME and KELNASE the safety level is raised by establishing online weather stations. In the EISMA PORT will develop services to sea tourist and local small boat owners. In the NARVA PORT development activities are targeted to increase the services as a guest port. NARVA-JÕESUU HARBOR infrastructure will be renovated and harbour facilities will be developed, including provision of maritime services - yachting, boat rental etc.In the SEAPLANE HARBOR which is part of Estonian Maritime Museum, necessary services for tourists will be target of the development activities.
